On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, the Foundation brought together over 400 participants for the 6th Women’s Awards Ceremony – Special 15th Anniversary Edition – held at the Théâtre du Trianon in Paris. This event honored associations that have played a significant role in the Foundation’s history, while showcasing its four key areas of action and commitment to advancing women’s rights in France and worldwide. The ceremony featured artistic performances by Danielle Gabou and the Compagnie Sans Sommeil, as well as by Les Affranchies from the Atelier des Artistes en Exil.

“In 2006, few of us had made the decision to take action and focus exclusively on women’s rights as the purpose of a foundation […] Today, as in 2006, women continue to face discrimination and violence regardless of their age, nationality, or religion.” recalled Danièle Marcovici, President and Founder of the Foundation, at the opening of the ceremony.
