Project presentation
The French agricultural sector still leaves little room for women. Female farmers who wish to manage their own farms face greater challenges than men, particularly when seeking loans or participating in decision-making processes when they have an associate status.
In response to this situation, the ADEAR organisations in the Pays de la Loire region launched a pilot initiative to support women in managing their farms while also promoting their role within the agricultural sector.
Fifty female project leaders will receive individual support and take part in technical training courses, while 30 farm partners will benefit from mediation to help them manage their farms in a more equal way.
