50,000 Euros collected thanks to RAJA Group employees !
Following November 25, 2022, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation organized a major operation to mobilize employees of the RAJA Group.
From November 18 to 30, 2022, the 4,500 employees of the 26 companies of the RAJA Group walked 60+ million steps in order to collect the sum of 50,000 euros for European associations committed to the fight against violence against women and children. girls and operating in the 19 countries where the RAJA Group is present.
In France, a grant was awarded to the Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes (FNSF). The FNSF is a network of 78 associations specializing in the support and accommodation of women victims of domestic violence. The FNSF is also the federation that initiated and manages the national helpline, Violences Femmes Info (3919).
In France, a woman is killed every 3 days by her spouse or ex-spouse and 1 in 2 women has already suffered sexual violence in her lifetime. The count of feminicides is up significantly compared to 2021. The National Solidarity Women Federation, based on data collected with 3919, the national hotline for domestic violence, notes a doubling of the number of calls from women declaring that they are suffering sexist and sexual violence since 2020.
