Several studies show a correlation between women’s empowerment and social and economic development.

— Danièle Marcovici, Founder and President of the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation

Women’s economic independence is an essential part of their empowerment and the fight for gender equality. Women around the world play a central role in social, family, cultural, and health issues. Yet women still face numerous forms of discrimination and inequality in terms of employment, economic rights, and wages. These inequalities are obstacles that sometimes compound other vulnerabilities experienced by women and keep them out of work.

Globally, women are more likely than men to be in precarious, low-paid jobs and to have limited or no fundamental rights.

The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation supports projects that:

offer qualifying and valuable professional training, adapted to all profiles.

help women set up income-generating activities.

encourage professional rehabilitation after difficult life experiences.
