The association Enfants et Développement (renamed Planète Enfants & Développement in 2016) supports the Nepalese NGO Voice of Children (VOC) in providing social support to migrant women in the Kathmandu Valley.
Individualised assistance, supported by in-depth interviews, is offered to each beneficiary identified by VOC’s social workers. This approach helps determine the most suitable support according to each woman’s situation (referral to literacy courses, vocational training, workshops raising awareness of women’s rights, etc.). This personalised intervention method was developed by Enfants et Développement, which supports VOC in implementing it at the local level.
