Project presentation
In Côte d’Ivoire, women traders from the Abobo market in Abidjan and women farmers from the Guepahouo region face similar challenges: limited access to production resources and financing, insufficient recognition of their rights and economic contribution, and difficulties in developing their activities.
Women farmers struggle to find markets for their production, while traders face challenges in accessing quality products.
Through its support and training programmes, SIAD helps these women formalise and better structure their activities, while strengthening the links between farmers and traders in order to establish fair and sustainable business relationships.
