Project presentation
Faced with widespread exposure of adolescents and young women to gender-based and sexual violence, Pow’Her strengthens its action in Bagnolet by reactivating an emergency shelter for young women aged 18–25. This project responds to a critical need: 70% of the victims accompanied by the association request emergency shelter, while public facilities are saturated.
The six emergency shelter places provide a three-week protective buffer, complemented by comprehensive support through the Reception and Orientation Center (LAO): educational follow-up, psychological support, legal information, workshops on affective and sexual life, and personal/professional empowerment activities. The goal is to ensure immediate safety while initiating a reconstruction and empowerment pathway.
