Since its establishment in 2006 by Danièle Marcovici, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation has supported projects that promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and improved living conditions for women. To date, more than 1,000 projects have been supported in over 80 countries, in partnership with more than 500 non-profit organizations.

Who can apply?

Projects must specifically target women and/or girls and contribute to their empowerment, the improvement of their living conditions, or the promotion of equal rights.

Each organization may submit only one application per year. The application may cover an entire project or a specific component of a broader programme, whether ongoing or newly launched.

The 2026 Call for Projects: Four Priority Areas

Projects must fall within at least one of the Foundation’s four priority areas:

Preventing violence, providing support and recovery services for women who have experienced physical, sexual or psychological violence, and combating discrimination.

Facilitating girls’ access to education, promoting women’s leadership, and improving access to essential social services.

Supporting women in achieving financial independence through vocational training, employment opportunities, and business creation.

Supporting environmental protection and climate change initiatives led by or involving women, with particular attention to innovative approaches.

How does the selection process work?

After the online grant application form has been submitted, the Foundation’s team identifies projects that meet the eligibility criteria and align with its priorities.

Selected organizations then have one month to submit a detailed application. The Foundation’s team subsequently meets with the shortlisted organizations, before presenting the projects to the Executive Committee, which makes the final funding decisions.

Through this call for projects, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation continues to support non-profit organizations that make a tangible difference in advancing women’s rights, both in France and around the world.

Application deadline: 13 November 2026

Applications are open from now until 13 November 2026. Organizations can submit their projects online via the application link.
