Project presentation
While programs exist to help entrepreneurs succeed in their projects, few initiatives provide women from priority neighborhoods (QPV) with the tools they need at the idea stage to take the leap and start their business. To address this, La Ruche launched the “Coup d’envoi – Women & Diversity” program, which supports women from the northeast Parisian QPVs over a 6-month period toward business creation.
Selected from 24 finalists, 12 winners receive free, comprehensive support, both collective and individual, to transform their desire to start a business into a concrete project (market research, marketing plan, etc.). Personal development sessions with a coach help the winners work on their entrepreneurial posture and self-confidence.
The program also emphasizes networking and sharing experiences with other women entrepreneurs supported by La Ruche. Its main goal is the long-term integration of women who are far from the labor market; if some projects do not come to fruition, beneficiaries are supported in finding employment or resuming training.
