Project presentation

In France, around 200,000 women are victims of domestic violence each year. These forms of violence particularly affect young women: 20% of domestic violence cases involve women aged 20–24 in the Île-de-France region.

The association H.O.M.E provides comprehensive support to help them rebuild their lives. The project aims to strengthen the existing support system (housing, legal and social assistance) by offering young women medical and social follow-up. In addition to emergency accommodation and/or individual career coaching, the women supported benefit from psychological care as well as sports and cultural workshops. This holistic approach addresses several key factors to help them escape violence, regain self-confidence, and create the conditions for professional integration and long-term recovery.

H.O.M.E aims to promote the professional integration of young women and women in vulnerable situations from disadvantaged neighborhoods and/or victims of violence, while also developing a network of safe housing for women experiencing domestic violence. The association operates mainly in Val-de-Marne (94) and across the rest of France.
