Project presentation

In Côte d’Ivoire, waste management remains a major challenge with significant impacts on the environment and public health. In this context, the organisation Moi Jeu Tri has launched Waste Work for Women, a professional integration programme targeting 60 women in precarious situations from the municipalities of Cocody and Grand Bassam.

Through a combination of practical and theoretical training, internships, support for cooperative creation, and assistance with job placement, the project aims to train these women in waste collection, sorting and recovery professions, while strengthening their economic autonomy. The initiative is rooted in a circular economy approach and social empowerment, generating strong environmental and social impact.
