Project presentation

In the Cundinamarca region of Colombia, rural women play a central role in agricultural production, yet their contributions often remain invisible, precarious and undervalued.

The project led by Projeter Sans Frontières (PSF) seeks to strengthen the economic autonomy of 20 women farmers through a comprehensive approach: improving agricultural practices through agroecology, reforesting plots to preserve local biodiversity, and providing entrepreneurial training to help develop sustainable income-generating activities.

The women will also benefit from a free participatory guarantee system (PGS) certification, ensuring quality recognition for their production. In addition, a volunteer programme will support the initiative by engaging young people in immersive agroecological field projects.
