Project presentation
In West Bengal, India, rural girls are highly exposed to gender-based violence, early marriages, and limited economic opportunities, within an agricultural context weakened by climate change. To address these vulnerabilities, PE&D and its local partner Tomorrow’s Foundation implement an 18-month program combining technical training, environmental awareness, and rights education.
The project aims to strengthen the participants’ social and economic autonomy, support school retention, and facilitate professional integration, while empowering them as change agents in their rural communities.
