Projet soutenu Project supported in 2024 : Empowering Women

Project presentation

The Refugee Women’s Centre supports exiled women and families living in the informal camps of Calais and Grande-Synthe, where living conditions are extremely precarious and dangerous.

The organization provides essential material support (clothing, hygiene products, and access to showers), facilitates access to rights and healthcare, and offers women-only workshops to create a safe and psychologically supportive space. It also conducts active advocacy work to raise awareness among the public and authorities about the violence and living conditions faced by exiled women.

The project aims to strengthen the autonomy, well-being, and dignity of participants while ensuring tailored and individualized support.
