First edition of the Feminist Fund for Neighborhoods: discover the 6 winning associations!

A panel of experts supports the selection of projects: Bouchera Azzouz (director, founder of the Ateliers du Féminisme Populaire); Fawzia Baba-Aissa (co-founder and head of development at the Fund for Women in the Mediterranean); Frédéric Callens (advisor to the director of the National Museum of the History of Immigration); Céline Evita (consultant and expert in urban policy, associative life, and civic engagement); Fadila Mehal (president and founder of Marianne de la diversité); Athina Zaag Marmorat (CEO and founder of the Rêv’Elles association) and Caroline Sakina Brac de la Perrière (historian and co-founder of the Fund for Women in the Mediterranean).

Following the selection process, six association projects have been selected.

FFQ supported projects in 2024:

• Hadjam Mimouna – La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis)
  A.F.R.I.C.A offers legal assistance services and organizes various workshops (parenting support, French as a Foreign Language classes, food distribution, discussion groups) for women in situations of poverty or disability.
• Evelyne Makamdoum Naoussi – Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis)
  Sunshine provides a support center in Sevran for women victims of violence, offering listening, guidance, and assistance. The association also organizes workshops to raise awareness about sexist and sexual violence, targeting middle school students.
• Nadia Baba Aissa – Clichy (Haut-de-Seine)
  FAME Radio TV is a digital media outlet aiming to make the voices of women from working-class neighborhoods more visible. It also offers media training and educational programs promoting secularism and social cohesion.
• Natacha Riodin – Moissy Cramayel (Seine-et-Marne)
  LPaSGPS works on strengthening parent-child relationships through various cultural and sports activities. The association also runs discussion groups and sophrology workshops. The majority of the beneficiaries are mothers from priority neighborhoods and single-parent families.
• Maryeme Bouslam – Courdimanche (Val-d’Oise)
  Tous Ensemble strengthens synergies between local actors, public institutions, and communities to improve individuals’ trust in democracy and institutions. The association is also active in fighting school bullying and advocating for better representation of women in public spaces.
• Linda Bara – Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise)
  Healthy Smoothies raises awareness about healthy and sustainable eating through educational workshops, focusing on understanding the importance of nutritional intake and short food supply chains.
