On November 25th, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation and RAJA Group teams came together to deliver a powerful message of solidarity and support for this vital cause. Over ten days, from November 20 to 30, the campaign was marked by a series of engaging actions. Several key moments stood out in this year’s edition.
The Pedometer Challenge inspired RAJA Group employees to unite and reach the goal of 50 million steps in just ten days. Not only was this ambitious target achieved, but it was exceeded with more than 62 million steps 👣! This collective effort will result in over €50,000 being donated to 25 organizations fighting against violence towards women in countries where the RAJA Group operates.

In collaboration with the My Voice My Choice collective*, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation organized a webinar to raise awareness about the urgency of protecting women’s reproductive rights in Europe. This exchange served as an opportunity to promote the My Voice My Choice initiative, which aims to guarantee safe and affordable access to abortion across the European Union.

On November 23rd, RAJA France teams, alongside the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation and the Droits d’Urgence association, participated in a feminist protest in Paris organized by the #NousToutes collective. Carrying powerful slogans and impactful signs, they marched from Gare du Nord to Bastille, demanding increased resources to effectively combat violence against women.
As part of the Pedometer Challenge, collective walks were organized in several European branches of the RAJA Group. At the RAJA headquarters in France, employees participated in a one-hour walk around a lake, symbolizing the solidarity shared across the entire Group.
On November 26th, RAJA employees participated in a training session organized by the Right to Be association. This workshop, based on the 5D method (distract, delegate, document, delay, direct), provided practical tools to respond effectively to street harassment.
Carole Mann, president of the Femaid association, led a conference highlighting the resilience of Afghan women facing oppression in their current social context. She shared powerful testimonies about clandestine classes organized for young girls, illustrating their remarkable courage.
