In 2021, the Fondation RAJA-Danièle Marcovici celebrates 15 years of commitment to women’s rights. The special 15th Anniversary edition of the RAJA Foundation Women’s Awards will bring together the Foundation’s numerous associative, institutional, and private partners on November 16 at the Théâtre du Trianon in Paris. This major event will highlight key milestones in the Foundation’s history, honor outstanding projects promoting women’s and girls’ rights, and look ahead to future directions for the Foundation’s action.
15 Years of Commitment and Action: Looking Back, Shaping the Future
The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation’s 15th anniversary provides an opportunity to look forward and define the Foundation’s strategic priority for the coming years. The Foundation aims to continue and further strengthen its commitment to funding and advocacy actions that enable women and girls, everywhere, to live freely and safely.
This milestone is also an opportunity to reflect on achievements and impact over the past 15 years. The Foundation takes pride in its collective accomplishments, carried out alongside associations and inspiring women and men whose determination to promote women’s and girls’ empowerment has been remarkable. Over the years, the Foundation has expanded significantly, in line with the growth of the RAJA Group, becoming a recognized actor in the fight for equality. Today, it operates at both national and international levels, maintaining close ties with women and grassroots associations in the field.
An Anniversary Ceremony and Awards Presentation
On November 16, the 15th Anniversary Ceremony of the Foundation will gather nearly 400 guests at the Théâtre du Trianon in Paris. The event will honor outstanding projects advancing women’s rights that have marked the Foundation’s history through a special edition of the RAJA Foundation Women’s Awards. A total of six prizes will be presented: four thematic Grand Prizes, the Audience Choice Award, and the RAJA Heart’s Choice Award.
Thematic Grand Prizes
The winning associations have been selected from among three finalists in each of the four prize categories by a jury composed of members of the Foundation’s Executive Committee (representatives from the RAJA Group and qualified experts). The laureates, announced during the Anniversary Ceremony, will each receive an exceptional grant of €15,000.
RAJA Heart’s Choice Award
The 15th Anniversary Ceremony also marks the creation of a new award: the RAJA Heart’s Choice Award. To mobilize the RAJA Group ecosystem around the Foundation’s activities, clients, suppliers, and employees are invited to vote for their favorite project among six finalists, from October 21 to November 8.

The winning association will be announced during the Ceremony and will receive a special €15,000 grant.
Audience Choice Award
Since 2016, the Audience Choice Award has highlighted projects supported by the Foundation and fostered engagement among its associative, private, and institutional partners, alongside RAJA Group clients, suppliers, and employees. During the RAJA Foundation Women’s Awards 2020, more than 15,000 people took part in the vote. This year, the voting campaign runs from October 22 to November 8.
