Project presentation

In France, approximately 200,000 women are victims of domestic violence each year. These forms of violence particularly affect young women: 20% of domestic violence cases concern women aged 20–24 in the Île-de-France region.

The H.O.M.E association offers comprehensive support to help them rebuild their lives. The project aims to strengthen the existing support system (housing, legal and social procedures) by providing young women with medical and social follow-up. In addition to emergency accommodation and/or individual coaching for professional orientation, the women supported benefit from psychological care as well as sports and cultural workshops. This holistic support addresses several essential aspects to help them leave situations of violence, regain self-confidence, and create the conditions for professional integration, enabling long-term recovery.

The association

H.O.M.E aims to promote the professional integration of young women and women in vulnerable situations from working-class neighborhoods and/or who are victims of violence, and to propose and develop a network of secure housing for women victims of domestic violence. It mainly operates in the Val-de-Marne (94) area as well as across the rest of France.
