Project presentation

In France, gender stereotypes are increasing, especially among young people, and digital media amplifies inequalities and violence. 70% of men still believe that a man must financially support his family to be respected, and 29% think men perform better in scientific careers.

Pepite Sexiste (PS) is an organization that exposes these stereotypes, particularly in marketing and advertising, and uses social media to challenge brands and raise public awareness. Its main actions include:

  • Awareness campaigns on stereotypes and children

  • Free educational tools for teachers and educators

  • Workshops and training on sexism, ecofeminism, and gender issues

PS also engages with the public and companies to show the real impact of stereotypes and propose concrete solutions.
