In 2018, the Moulin de Pont-Rû (MDPR) association was created
to welcome vulnerable women for immersive 5-day stays in the heart of the Vexin. to offer them a break in their lives, a moment in safety totally free of charge. These stays complement the support provided by the partner structures that refer the women.

In 2023, the association aims to develop these immersive stays and go even further in the care of women victims of violence. The geographical location of our beneficiaries makes it all the more difficult for them to access healthcare, accommodation, administrative procedures, employment and cultural and sporting activities. This contributes to their isolation and reinforces a situation of multi-dimensional violence. To change this situation, the association wants to highlight existing solutions in rural areas, which are often forgotten by public services, and by creating accommodation places. The accommodation will offer a longer-term response to women victims of violence, with long-term support. Regular meetings with partners enable the immersive stays to be put together as effectively as possible, but also to continue to monitor the journeys of the women encountered.
