20 Years in Motion! The RAJA Group’s Collective Commitment to Women’s Rights
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation invited all RAJA Group employees to take part in a sporting challenge, “20 Years in Motion!”, from June 1 to 30. Walking, running, cycling, wheelchair travel… every kilometer covered contributed to the goal of supporting women’s rights.

A collective challenge in support of women’s rights
Throughout June, RAJA Group companies across 19 European countries joined forces to cover as many kilometers as possible. This collective effort resulted in a €50,000 donation to organizations committed to advancing women’s rights in the countries where the Group operates.
The initial target of 20,000 kilometers was exceeded within the very first week. In just a few days, more than 650 participants, organized into 129 teams, had collectively covered 37,000 kilometers. In response to this enthusiasm, a new target of 140,000 kilometers was set, and it too was largely surpassed by the end of the month, with more than 165,000 kilometers covered.
A digital experience with Squadeasy
To bring this initiative to life, employees used a dedicated app, Squadeasy. Participants could automatically track the kilometers they covered, take quizzes about women’s rights and the history of the Foundation, and share photos with the wider community.
Beyond the sporting challenge, this was also a team effort. Organized into groups of up to six people, employees earned points by covering kilometers, taking part in daily activities, and encouraging their teammates.
A commitment that goes beyond sport
As the weeks went by, enthusiasm continued to grow. More than 700 participants, organized into 139 teams, took part in the challenge on a daily basis, making significant progress toward the revised target.
But beyond the kilometers covered and the rankings, “20 Years in Motion!” was above all an opportunity to bring RAJA Group employees together around a shared cause. Thanks to this collective effort, €50,000 will be donated to organizations working to advance women’s rights in the countries where the RAJA Group operates.
