In the context of the upcoming edition of Women Deliver, scheduled from July 17th to 20th in Rwanda, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation, in collaboration with the Gender in Geopolitics Institute, plays an active role. They are co-organizing a side event to discuss gender, climate, and women's leadership issues, with a particular emphasis on actions taken in Francophone Africa.
The Women Deliver conference brings together leaders from around the world working in the field of gender equality. It is one of the largest multi-sectoral gatherings with the goal of advancing gender equality and giving a voice to leaders committed to this cause.
This year, the primary objectives of WD2023 aim to catalyze collective action to advance gender equality, hold leaders accountable, and strengthen the feminist movement.
As part of Women Deliver, taking place from July 17th to 20th in Rwanda, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation is co-organizing a side event on July 19th with the Gender in Geopolitics Institute. The discussions, facilitated by Alice Apostoly, Co-Director of the Gender in Geopolitics Institute, will focus on gender, climate, and women’s leadership issues, with a particular focus on initiatives implemented in Francophone Africa.

The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation has also provided exceptional support to Mana Omar, founder and director of the Spring of the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (SASAL) association. Mana Omar is the youth representative of the Coalition for Women’s Action on Climate Justice of the Generation Equality Forum, of which the foundation is a member.
