RAJA is first and foremost a story of women … a story that started in 1954, more than 60 years ago. RAJA exists thanks to the will of Rachel Marcovici, my mother, who fought to create her business, in the very masculine world of the distribution of supplies and packaging equipment for companies.
I continued to lead the RAJA Group by instilling in the company strong values of solidarity, respect and gender equality, and I have always been convinced that the role of the company is not only economic but also social and societal.
For these reasons and thanks to the economic success of the company, I decided in 2006 to create the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation. Day after day for more than 12 years, the entire RAJA Group and the associations supported by the Foundation have been mobilizing .
Nothing is acquired, and many rights remain to be won. We continue our fight for women’s rights, as long as inequalities and violence persist.
