The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation supports projects for the emancipation of women, in France and around the world, carried out by French associations.
Applications for grants must be made online, and only during the Foundation’s calls for projects. The selection procedure and criteria are detailed in the guidelines defined for each call for projects.
In order for your application to be considered by the Foundation, your project must meet the following eligibility criteria :
All the eligibility criteria and the quality criteria taken into account in the selection are detailed in the guidelines for calls for projects.
Projects are selected in several phases :
• Phase 1: Preliminary Approaches
Project holders are invited to ensure the eligibility of their application by consulting the guidelines for calls for projects. Applications for grants are submitted online. Projects sent by mail or email will not be considered.
• Phase 2: Filing and reviewing grant application forms
Project holders are invited to fill a short online grant application form, accessible only when a call for projects is in progress. The grant application forms are then reviewed by the Foundation team, which verifies that proposals are eligible and preselects those that best meet the Foundation’s objectives and priorities.
• Phase 3: Filing and processing grant applications
Shortlisted organizations then have one month to complete a complete grant application online. Once completed, grant application files are subject to further investigation to assess the strength of the organization and the project and its suitability for the Foundation’s criteria. Following instruction, the team presents the projects to the Foundation’s Executive Committee.
• Phase 4: Decision of the Foundation’s Executive Committee
The Foundation’s Executive Committee reviews the projects shortlisted by the team and selects those that will be supported by the Foundation.
The amount of grant awarded will depend on the needs of the project. The average grant awarded is €15,000.
Every project holder supported by the Foundation undertakes to comply with the monitoring and evaluation procedure laid down, in particular by sending regular reports on activities and financial statements.
Any project holder supported by the Foundation undertakes to mention the Foundation’s support in the documents about the projects. It undertakes to provide the Foundation with documents (texts, photos, videos, etc.) promoting the project and the partnership.
The next call for projects will be open from April 15th to May 13rd 2019. This call for projects aims to support projects in favour of the empowerment of women in France and around the world, which fall under one of the following two axes of intervention: “Women’s rights and the fight against violence”, or “Professional training and integration”.
This thematic division enables the Foundation to process grant applications more efficiently. Thank you for respecting the themes of our calls for projects.
Before submitting an application, project holders are invited to consult the guidelines for calls for projects.
