The association is setting up the Quadrathlon program in partnership with the Union nationale des Centres sportifs de Plein Air – UCPA and the Marseille Solutions association. Following the success of the first edition in 2021, the association wishes to renew the program in Marseille in 2022 and duplicate it in Istres in September 2023.

This program uses sport as a means of reappropriating oneself and one’s body, and as a tool to promote the professional integration of women who are victims of domestic and sexual violence. The 8-month program includes four sports (climbing, horse-riding, boxing and mountain biking), organized into sports sessions and workshops to discover sports-related professions. These workshops enable the women to discover a new professional sector through visits to training centers, gyms, sports centers and meetings with sportswomen. The first edition of the project demonstrated that sport plays a major role in improving women’s well-being and reintegration. What’s more, the practice of sport soothes women, fosters cooperation, enables them to surpass themselves and better manage their emotions.

4sporting disciplines will be organized over the 8-month course
30women are currently following the program in Marseille
15women in Istres in September 2023
